Story by Kristen Grace, illustrations by Natasha Alterici
A peregrine falcon is shot by a king. As the bird falls, it turns into a woman who the king falls in love with. They marry, have a child, but the woman longs to return to the sky. And so she does.
Overtime, the king remarries a woman who accepts the child as her own and also helps the girl explore her exceptional heritage. A story for blended families and GOOD stepmothers.
