Learn how to make images that burn each other feel perfectly at home on your page! Juxtaposition is the perfect tool to deify an image in your poetry! 

Materials Needed: 

  • A pen/pencil

  • Something to write on

Durell Carter is a poet and educator based in Oklahoma, where he shares his passion for literature with his students at Piedmont High School. He holds a graduate degree in English from the University of Central Oklahoma and is the author of the poetry collection Mr. Monday Morning’s Broken Songs and Testimonies. His work has appeared in numerous literary journals, including Rising Phoenix Review, Wild Roof Journal, Posit, and Midway Journal, among others.
