Who We Are

The Literati Press Writers Co-op is a community of practicing storytellers, working within fiction, poetry, filmmaking, visual arts, music, and other related fields. Our primary function is to foster community, intersectionality, and literary citizenship to help each other become better readers, writers, and storytellers by serving as each other’s champions and collaborators.

Being a member of the co-op means owning a piece of The Writers Co-op and Literati Press. You get to help guide the major decisions we make in order to further our mission of strengthening the metro’s literary community.

Open hours are available for all members for co-working, member-led workshops and events, or to just sit in a quiet space to contemplate their next masterpiece. We will also be pursuing member-chosen, funded, and directed initiatives including a literary magazine, master classes, and keynote speakers.
